Hey Rich – Don’t know if you’ll get this, but thanks for linking to my blog. I met you briefly after the show downstairs while waiting for my mates to use the bathroom. Anyway, the show was fantastic. We all were really raving afterwards. My ONLY small complaint is that Tim’s bass wasn’t loud enough. Don’t know if that was him, the place I was standing or the soundman’s fault, but there it is.

Have a great trip & tour. Come back to Woodstock anytime.

Just wanted to again tell you what a great addition you are to The Furs sound. I’ve been a fan since 82 and just saw two shows (Austin & Dallas) and was completely blown away – that AC30 was eminating some incredible tones. Thanks for the pick – I was the way too loud and over exhuberant old guy you said hi to in the parking lot after the Dallas show.

I was at the music box show…and totally stalked to find out who this new guitarist was… Crazy impressed at how well you mesh with the Furs…blown away by your stage presence. The show was amazing…been a really long time since I felt energy like that… I really like your photography too. Come back soon! XOXO

Hey Rich. I met you at the Houston show back in April of this year. Stumbled upon your journal which is great to read. The photography is brilliant as well. Caught a glimpse of The Pleased video linked to one of your posts – can’t seem to get We Are The Doctors out of my head! By the way, Hold Your Fire is not too shabby either. Happy Birthday, fellow Gemini! I celebrated mine last Saturday, June 11th. Looking forward to seeing you play with the Furs next weekend in New Orleans.

Culture Room (July 1) Ft. Lauderdale. Fantastic show! Played my favorite songs: Sister Europe and My Time. That was me screeming from the balcony! So glad u come to south Florida. Saw the last show at Revolution (2009). Would love to find the song Wrong Train. Heard it years ago on a DVD shown on one of the cable channels years ago. Have not been able to find it since. Any suggestions? Thanks again for a wonderful evening. Looking forward to the Furs next visit. It was great to get to meet you after the show. Thanks for making this long time fan quite happy. Till next time……

That was a lovely show @ the Orange Peel last night, Rich! It was only the second time I’d seen the band in 31 years of fandom, and by far the better show. [’86 was the first time] Your playing was excellent and a real asset to the sound. I missed “India” but every other fave track was in evidence and it was a great vibe all around.

Great Show at the Kent Stage Friday night! You were awesome on guitar! I do also wish to thank you for your very kind act of offering to take my official PFurs song list from that night and bringing it onto the bus after the show to have Richard sign it! That was a most unexpected and incredible act by someone like you to help out a total stranger! I was and continue to be blown away by that completely selfless and unexpected act. What a class act! The Psychedelic Furs are my favorite band of all time and I’ve seen the Furs play Cleveland and the surrounding area some 12 times since 1980 when the band first played at John Carrol University, opening for the Talking Heads. We’ve never missed a Furs show and we look forward to the next with great anticipation! Anyway, have a great rest of your tour and a million thanks for making this concert what will undoubtedely be the most memerable one to date! Cheers

I posted a review of the show at Bogarts that you did last Saturday night. And I was amazed at how great the band was and what an INCREDIBLE job Tricia did. I’ve mixed that room myelf many times over the past 30 year and can count on a few fingers the shows that sounded that good there.

    Dear Rich:

I met you before the last show of the tour at the Rio in Santa Cruz. If you remember me, I had already caught twelve shows on the tour such as Providence,Portland, etc.. The show at the Honda Center was wicked pissa(a Boston phrase) as were all the shows.

You were very kind to me in taking the time to talk with me before the Santa Cruz show by the tour bus, have my picture taken with you, and giving me a guitar pick. It meant a lot to me. You sure are one nice dude. I can’t wait for you and the group to tour again. Thanks again for your kindness. God bless you dear friend.

Hello. I love the Chicago House of Blues poster from September 2013. Is it possible to purchase one? I travelled from the San Francisco Bay Area to see the show. It was so crowded that I never found the mercy table.

    I ‘d love to buy a poster.

    Thank you,

Hi Mike – apologies i’ve been absent from this site since that tour and missed this. Do you mean the one i posted here? or the venue poster? I might be able to figure something out… i’ve been considering making prints of the whole set of posters…
