I like this new project called Broken Bells. It happens to feature Mr Jonathan Hischke who used to hang bass with us and Dan Elkan who co-produced our latest record – and who I’m constantly trying to get in a band with. Go see these guys…

We’re mixing. Final notes have been made. And its time to commit. Admittedly, this process has been almost a little to hurried because of time/financial constraints but at some point you have to just let things go and accept that perhaps no-one else will hear that the backwards guitar sweep is not quite present enough, or that the vocal is too out front in that part. Fly my babies, fly.

Mastering tomorrow. I’m going to go listen in the car, then the house, then the ipod, underwater etc… as instructed. Thanks Dana – the mixing has really brought the songs back to me.
