Day One: Chicago

First night of the tour. It can be rough but it wasn’t. Energy was up, audience was great, the mistakes were few and far between, everyone was pretty much owning it. The Vic is a cool looking old theatre – my favourite kind. Opening with Love my Way was great – i thought it might not be big enough kicking off with the more pop track but it sounded huge and warm. High points tonight for me were It Goes On, Sister Euro and Forever Now (amazing considering we only played once at the last rehearsal). Thanks Chicago, wish we could stay a bit longer so i could catch the art museums and the Diner. Next time.
