Day 27: Norfolk, VA

They are digging up the street in front of this venue. Despite that, Norva has the best dressing rooms i’ve experienced. It was like having a huge private suite with hot tub, showers, multiple lounges, flat screen tvs, sauna, kitchen, game room, dinner area etc… Not too shabby. Maybe i’m getting spoiled…

Darren fell of the ladder while cutting branches back to park the bus. Then a cop was trying to tell him to park the other way round until she finally realized that would be facing the wrong way. Wandered a bit, bought a pink striped shirt. Saw the 1943 US Wisconsin… Terrifying ole thing. Chatted with Andi – she’s heading to NY soon; keeping busy informing me of the cat escapades back home. Played some pool and compared clothes with the Mondays. Wheayy…

Islands were on fire tonight as were Shaun and the gang. We did our thing, people screamed, people got drunk and we’re gone – and we’re out to Fairfax, VA – hotel check in at 4am. Utterly exhausted.
