Day 31: Autumn in New York
We bought $4 shades and day-glo socks. Had a great day in NY with my lady. Had great coffee breakfast at Cafe Reggio, ran into Mars and Knox Chandler (he’s going to rock some cello on PG tomorrow!) wandered the village, saw Charlie Parker’s place, Cafe Wha, had a drink in the lower east side, almost bought too many shoes, didn’t buy any, ran into Marc Snegg, checked out Mars’ old pad, ate great indian from the Punjabi place apposite the Mercury Lounge, took the train over to Brooklyn and whiled the evening away with Rochelle and some mexi-food and a whiskey. Tube it back to Secaucas. zzzzz.
