Day 14. Toronto, ON
Mars, originally uploaded by Rich in Orderly Manor.
Last time i was in Toronto we played somewhere called the Koolhaus and it was basically in an industrial estate. I wandered into the city center and ogled the CN tower but I left thinking it was just the same as any American city. This time i got to see a different part of the city and subsequently fell in love with Toronto. We’re at Lee’s Palace in the University district, close to Korea town and Little Italy; friendly people, great old townhouse architecture alongside ultra-modern Royal Ontario Museum, great food and beautiful weather. Toronto delivered crisp blue skies and a light breeze right as I’d just about reached my limit with humidty.
The show was off the hook at this place. Crammed to the ceiling, loud, clear sound and hot as anything. Great fun… Really enjoying It Goes On on this tour – the middle instrumental part is going off! Special note to Tim for taking care of us tech-wise while Za could not attend – thanks! Spoke with some nice fans outside and then there’s a mini party in progress on the bus – a good feeling all round. Little did we know…
