Day 23: Colorado to Idaho

Its my birthday. Thanks for the Lion Head, Mars. Spent half the day on the bus to Boise… The landscape is wide open plains, snow-capped mountains and green valleys as we pass through Utah and in to Idaho. Just my cup of tea… Great hotel in downtown Boise. On Dan’s instruction i headed over to Record Exchange and the Neurolux bar to blow a load of money on records and top it off with a Margarita. From there it was dinner with the band and crew outside at the Red Feather Restaurant – very nice too. Later Tricia talked me into going to a battle of the metal bands show. The fat dudes in shorts metal is not really my cup of tea but it was a laugh for a song or two. All this on top of about four hours sleep from the night before led to me passing out trying to find this on TV:
