Day One: Fairfield, CT

Dumb Waiters was always a favourite of mine and tonight it feels monsterous as the opener of our first Talk Talk Talk show; exactly how it should. There was an edge there that stayed with us throughout til the closing ratatat of India. First night of a new tour brings the perfect combination of jitters, excitement and determination to blow the roof off the place, perhaps?

The audience they seemed to get where we were coming from right away and broke free of the seating confines that this little theatre presents. They were with us right through to the end. Yea, there were glitches for the band but its the first one and i think everyone had a great time. Thanks Fairfield…

The weather got rather wet and stormy for the short ride home, the bright autumn leaves that lit up the drive earlier are blanketing the road, and my ears are ringing. Good ringing. Night.
